ICT self-efficacy refers to an individual's confidence in using these technologies optimally. Both factors influence functional skills, such as literacy, numeracy, and communication, and enhance the use of technology in daily life. This study examines the impact of digital literacy and ICT self-efficacy on the functional skills of Islamic secondary school teachers in Kot Addu South, Pakistan. Using a quantitative approach, a survey was conducted on 996 science teachers. Data were analyzed based on the respondents' demographics in percentages, with validity and reliability tested through expert opinions and Cronbach's Alpha scores. The results indicate a positive correlation between digital literacy, ICT self-efficacy, and improved problem-solving and critical thinking skills. This conclusion is relevant for educators and policymakers in improving education in rural areas.
Muhammad Kashif Majeed, Badariah Binti Tunku Ahmad Copyright (c) 2024 At-Tarbawi: Jurnal Kajian Kependidikan Islam https://ejournal.uinsaid.ac.id/index.php/at-tarbawi/article/view/10246 Mon, 30 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Islamic Education Learning to Develop Emotional Intelligence (EQ) for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) https://ejournal.uinsaid.ac.id/index.php/at-tarbawi/article/view/10915
This study aims to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers in developing the emotional intelligence (EQ) of autistic students at SLB Mitra Ananda through the applied learning methods and media. However, to this day, the availability of suitable education for children with special needs remains limited. On the other hand, pesantren, as a unique educational institution in Indonesia, holds great potential for developing inclusive education. This study aims to explore the implementation of inclusive education in pesantren through a phenomenological approach, in order to understand the lived experiences of the pesantren community in the process of academic reform, including the dynamics, debates, and contradictions within it. The research was conducted at Ponpes Autis Achsaniyah Kudus using data collection methods such as interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis adopted the qualitative analysis model by Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the study indicate that pesantren, with its tradition of openness (inclusivity) and respect for human rights (humanitas), is capable of providing the inclusive education needed by society and serving as an effective platform to realize inclusive education within the community.
Abdulloh Hadziq, Raharjo, Muhammad Sulthon, Nasihun Amin Copyright (c) 2024 At-Tarbawi: Jurnal Kajian Kependidikan Islam https://ejournal.uinsaid.ac.id/index.php/at-tarbawi/article/view/11147 Mon, 30 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Modernisasi Pendidikan Islam di Minangkabau: Studi tentang Interaksi dengan Pan-Islamisme (1909-1945) https://ejournal.uinsaid.ac.id/index.php/at-tarbawi/article/view/10955
This article aims to analyze the influence of pan-Islamism on the modernization of Islamic education in Minangkabau during the National Movement period.
