Transformatif: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is an interdisciplinary journal that brings together a wide range of fields including social sciences, economics, humanities, education, religious studies, law, culture, science and technology, health, and environmental studies to respond to complex and interrelated societal issues. The journal focuses on translating academic knowledge into practical solutions through research-driven community engagement and service initiatives. Although it primarily situates its studies within the Indonesian context, the journal embraces global perspectives and comparative approaches, positioning local experiences within broader international conversations on community development and social change. It particularly encourages submissions that reflect participatory, context-aware, and sustainable practices, emphasizing collaborative knowledge creation between scholars and communities.
The journal invites high-quality manuscripts on applied research and community service that utilize frameworks such as Participatory Action Research (PAR), Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), community-based research, service learning, and other action-oriented methodologies. It also welcomes qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies, as long as they demonstrate strong relevance to community engagement and measurable societal impact. Published biannually in June and December the journal is committed to disseminating timely, rigorous, and internationally relevant scholarship that advances community empowerment, sustainable development, and transformative social change.
This journal is open-access which means that everyone can access for individual or institution for free. User will be allowed reading, downloading, copying, distributing, producing, creating a link from the article, or using for academic writing under the condition of publication ethics.
