This competition aims to foster innovative explorations into Islam not only as a religion but also as a dynamic social, cultural, historical, and political force, embracing the broad and inclusive concept of the Islamicate introduced by Marshall Hodgson. Submissions may cover topics such as new interpretations of Islamic texts, evolving media in da’wah, contemporary Islamic education, urban Sufism, modern waves of Islamism, Islamicate cultures, youth phenomena, and the ever-expanding Muslim middle class.
We strongly encourage collaboration among scholars from different institutions and regions, as diverse perspectives enrich the academic discourse on Islamic Studies. Manuscripts should be written in clear, precise language and organized with a logical structure to ensure clarity and academic rigor.
