Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.


Peer Review Process

Mahakarya: Jurnal Mahasiswa Ilmu Budaya conducts a double-blind peer review. It involves at least two reviewers for measuring the quality of each manuscript. The judgments to the submissions are based on the criteria of a proper academic journal article. The duration for each reviewing process is maximum of two weeks. The recruitments for reviewers highly consider the academic qualification, particularly in journal article writing, of the candidates. The accepted manuscript will be decided by editors.


Publication Ethics

Mahakarya: Jurnal Mahasiswa Ilmu Budaya clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the Editorial Board, the peer-reviewer and the publisher (Faculty of Cultures and Languages IAIN Surakarta). This statement is based on COPE’s Code of Conduct

it is expected of authors, reviewers and editors that they follow the best-practice guidelines on ethical behaviour contained therein.
