Application of Picture and Picture in Increasing Student Learning Activeness in PPKN Subjects

Abstract

This research is an improvement in the learning methods used by students during learning. Aims to increase mastery of PPKN competencies through the application of the Picture And Picture model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Data was collected using the test method, this classroom action research has four stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. The results of this research show that the Picture and Picture Learning Model has a positive impact in improving student learning achievement. This can be seen from the increasingly solid understanding of students towards the material presented by the teacher, increasing between cycle I and cycle II. Shows classical completeness in cycle I\ then increases in cycle II. The increase occurred from cycle I to cycle II. So it can be concluded that the application of the Picture And Picture Model can improve mastery of PPKN class II lesson competencies at SD 3 Muhammadiyah Surakarta
